Misunderstood in a bad mood? Learn These Tips to Easily Defuse Misunderstandings and Negative Emotions

Recently there were some uncivilized behaviors in the company's bathroom, and the cleaning aunt disclosed to a colleague that it was the girl with the thinnest face on our floor who did it, and as a result, everyone suspected me, which made me particularly angry, thinking that the aunt's words could easily trigger misunderstandings.

Personally, I think it's better to either not say anything like that or find the people involved and communicate privately, rather than spreading it around and causing people to speculate wildly.

⭕️ Being second-guessed, especially by a group of people, and the misunderstanding involves uncivilized behavior, must make you both angry and helpless, right?

ര‿ര "I think it's better to either keep it all to yourself or communicate after finding out who's involved, rather than spreading it and drawing suspicion." I completely understand your principle of dealing with the situation and couldn't agree more!

✿But not everyone thinks that way, some people like to listen with judgment, some are prone to follow the crowd, some have no interest in the matter, and there will be those who are willing to check the truth!

✿We can't control how the cleaning lady talks, maybe she just mentioned it off the top of her head, and we can't control the coworker, who just randomly overheard it and passed it on!

So, what are you really angry about? Are you angry at them for not being able to handle things the way you do? Or are you mad at them for unintentionally hurting you and disrespecting you? Or are you more angry at yourself for not being able to diffuse the awkwardness of a misunderstanding? Or is it a combination of emotions?

-‿‿ - If you're angry that they can't handle things the same way you do? Might as well ask yourself why you have this expectation? Where does this desire for control come from? Is it an inner desire to be understood and recognized by more people?

-‿- If it's anger that they unintentionally hurt you and disrespected you? Then it's perfectly fine for you to reach out to the person in question and tell them that this behavior has caused you distress and hurt, and that you need to apologize or clarify. Whether they'll do it or not I'm not sure, but at least you protected yourself and have a clear conscience!

-‿‿ - If you're just mad at yourself for not being able to deal with the attention you get when you're misunderstood? Think about it, why are you so afraid of being the center of attention? Is it because you care too much about what others think? You want to be recognized on your team, and if you can't do that, you don't want to be noticed for fear of getting involved in right and wrong.
