My grandparents always like to compare me with other children, and they always say that everyone else is good, but I'm not good here and not good there. For example, they always think that the clothes I wear don't look good, and they have to match them with their old-fashioned clothes to make them look good; I obviously feel too hot, but they insist that I put on more clothes, and say that it's very cold. But they are not me, how can they know my true feelings? And when I washed my face, the water was so hot that I jumped straight to my feet, but they downplayed it and said it wasn't hot at all, and they didn't think about it from my point of view at all.
I can understand that you must have accumulated a lot of grievances when you were with your grandparents. They always compare you to others and often ignore your feelings in small things, which really makes people feel uncomfortable. Grandparents generation, life experience and way of thinking is very different from our young people, they may have good intentions, want to pass on to you the concepts they feel right, but unknowingly ignored your ideas. In fact, everyone feels differently about things, and that's normal. Next time you encounter a similar situation, you can try to calmly express your true thoughts, such as directly say "this dress has a special meaning for me, I feel comfortable wearing it. Communicate in a calm manner and take your time, and you may be able to get them to understand and respect your feelings.
